Anyone who has done a self supported tour of Kyushu, how did you re-supply?

I've done all official bike paths in South Korea (save for Jeju) and other non-path routes in three different visits. Which one is the "best"? It's not the Four Rivers or the East Coast. 😎
There's a big camping supply store in Seoul near the Jogno-5 metro, here. They sell all manner of gas cannisters. Afterwards you can have lunch or dinner at the nearby culinary smorgasboard that is the Gwangjang market.

At the end, I take the train from Gwangyang to Busan and fly out of Gimhae.

Okay, I知 going to do this. I値l take the train to Gwangju from Seoul. I知 thinking if I leave early, I can get off the train and ride to Damyang that evening to camp. I know you did motels but I知 planning to camp. Do you think I値l have any problems finding sites? Does the path have the covered shelters periodically like on 4 Rivers?

You'll arrive in Busan at the Seobu bus terminal. If you don't plan to camp, I can recommend the Brown Dot Sasang Renecife hotel (Brown Dot hotels are generally good value) nearby and this noodle shop around the corner. You can cycle to Gimhae in less than an hour from there.
