I would check with the Fat Frogs Bike Shop, they have daily rides from their shop in Virginia Beach. Their website is www.fatfrogsbikes.com.

I don't live in Virginia anymore but grew up in SW Virginia near Blacksburg. Later I lived in Charlottesville while I was in school and worked in several of the bike shops; Fleur De Lis, Blue Wheel, and GoPal. I visited Charlottesville this past June and wanted to visit the folks at Blue Wheel but they were in transit from moving from Elliewood to their new downtown location.
Although I haven't lived there in 20 years it still seems very much like home to me.

I was from Blacksburg but move here to Germany 5 years ago. Anyone bike along the Huckleberry trail there? How's that progressing? It had been proposed to extend it to Christiansburg. Another "Rails to Trails" success story.

Herndon. I commute usually 2x week (try for year-around) and do a lot of riding on the W&OD (go figure), and the Reston Bike Club weeknight rides April-October.
