Recently converted to eagle from XTR double.
I actually intended to sell this when I got the insurgent but I keep going back to it.

Yeah, that's what I've been waiting for. So sexy!

My new Cannondale finally came...took this right after getting it home. I still need to dial in the fit and slam the stem along with a few other things, but I was so excited I had to snap a few photos. Weight is 13.8lbs as pictured...apparently, that's a good thing.

13.8 lbs? Holy hell. Also, thank you for running black tires.

Great stable you got. I'm surprised no one has given you grief about all the lovely #gumwall action you got going on.

Gumwalls might happen at some point, but these tires still have a pile of life in them, so black for now.

Haha, I added pedals, cages, and all that jazz today. It's far from 13.8lbs now.

Hell yeah, everyone knows that would look extremely good with #gumwalls !

Regardless of the ultimate weight, I am sure it's a stellar ride.

On a large tube bike? With deep flat black carbon rims? Faux pas mas grande I fear.

I like the way gumwalls break up the wheel on black carbon. Black, gum, black. It adds a bit of complexity to the bike. Gumwalls really depend on the bike for me. I don't mind them on new bikes, but the bike can't be overly busy to begin with. I'm usually not a fan of pro bikes with them because there's already logos on the wheels, the frame, and everything else, but on an understated bike, they can add a bit of pop.

Then again I think deep dish wheels for anything but racing is a faux pas.
But that is just me.

A beauty but better without pedals - they would add a 1/2 pound & then he can't crow quite so much about ultra-low weight

On that particular bike. No, no, no, and more no. Here's why. For me, that awesome pink bar tape and saddle add the exact right amount of pop that the blacked out bike is begging for. They are bold and perfect accents IMO. Gummies will just mess up that theme by adding another color.

That bike don't want no brown nowhere near it. How's that for a triple negative?

Ding Ding.

It's all about contrast. Same reason why I can't stand black wheels on cars.

Just saying.

Some damn fine bikes on this page tho.

Weight is
21.27 lbs as pictured...I love this bike but apparently that may not be such a good thing?

Edit - meaning the weight, not my love for it....

A bike that isn't flat black renders the whole problem moot.

Regardless, I hope you have many safe and happy miles on that bike.
