For those that already used the last Performance Bike coupon, here is yet another! The Coupon Code 6000381 saves you 20% off a purchase of $50 or more.

I used it to purchase some Shimano chains and cassettes!

Looks like the coupon expires 6/15/2004. Also, you can use these coupons as many times as you want. I have used the other one about 5 times so far. It was saved (or more realistically costed me) quite a bit of money.

edit: looks like you already had the expiration in the title. Guess I missed that....

Does anyone know if you can use these coupons to purchase items over the phone? There are some catalog items they do not have on-line that I am interested in getting.

You can always try, the worst they can do is say no.

And then ban your caller ID #, spread your name and address to bike retailers nation wide, blacklist you from every group ride and a whole bunch of other stuff that sad to say, in the end would lead to deportation. I guess that's the worst that can happen...

I used it today and it saved me $45 AFTER I saved even more w/ some of the stuff buy 1 get 1 half priced deals they had...too cool!

Just tell the order taker you have a coupon. Should be no problem.

I just got my mallet c's and shimano pedals (plus a computer and other crap). My point is that everything went smooth and I really like this place.

Coupon code works over the phone. Interestingly, they sometimes ask if that is a 10% coupon or a 20% coupon. Doh!

Don't forget the additional Team Performance discount - $20 to join for the year and gets you 10% off to be used on future purchases, plus the upgrade to 2 day air, which is always nice - order early in the week and have your gear by the weekend.

The discount still doesn't work in the store. I've tried twice with two different salespersons and was rejected. They told me I have to order it online.

That's odd - I have placed at least 5 orders this spring for at least $3k worth of "stuff" and successfully used a 20% code by phone each time. Huh.

I just used it online. Saved enough to pay for the overnight shipping. I screwed up my front der. and I need a new one ASAP.

I'm such a dumba$$. I kept copying and pasting the coupon number. The thing copies the number plus a space. The space is what kept it from working.

Great! Coupon just expired when I just got enough money for the MX Comp Air! Wonder if it will still work? I think that Performance's coupons usually work a few days after they expire.

I'd certainly try it. If it doesn't work, wait for a new code to come out. Seems there's almost always an active code. For that matter, they seem to play the code game pretty loosely. More than once, they have asked me "is that a 10% code or a 20% code" ... uh - there's only one right answer to that question!

I found two more codes at mtbreview.com. I tried both online and they failed. When I called my order in they had no problem accepting them.
