Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pre-crash photos

I'm in a sick and twisted mood. I'd like to see some action photos just pre-crash. The more subtle, the better.

I'll lead it off:

You're right, this is pretty twisted. I didn't really get what you meant by subtle because to me, the pic posted looked just like any other race pic, except maybe the road was a little wet. However, after looking at it a little closer, I now understand.

Still twisted, though.

Not very subtle but at least pre-crash.

Hey this is Mr. Scrooby's pic. I like the after-crash too.

are the pr2 "grip" the same as the "special edition/team" tire that the pro teams were using?

That would be Albert Einstein, at least since 1916.

Note Cipo's handlebar between the spokes of the other bike's rear wheel. No getting out of that one.

Also, great look on Boonen's face..
