Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The pleasure of having Ivan Dominguez as a guest.

Hi guys and Gals I had the opportunity to have Ivan Dominguez from (Toyota United Pro Cycling Team) as a guest at Home and we went to a restaurant after.
This guy is the most humble and simple Dude you can meet, his wife is a very nice Lady and we had a very pleasant Afternoon-Night in South Florida, physically is about an inch higher than me but very strong built, this picture was taken at Catalina's Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

Exactly we spend about 5 hours "socializing" and I have the same impression,we've being talking now for some 6-7 months and exchanging Emails, always the same person,I'll tell you I'm very impressed,We are going to be visiting them (Toyota United) in Ga when the time for the Tour of Georgia arrives ...

I've being in close contact with several sports men because of my work but Ivan and Jonathan Vilma (New York Jets)are my two favorites, humble and nice pleasant people to be around.

Sweet! You've got to be pretty well connected to know these guys, what do you do for a living? Or would that give up the explanation of you two knowing eachother?

I wish I could be a fan of the guy, maybe if he swtiched teams. I hate Toyota more than I hate them damn Commie Rooskies.

I don't think I will be riding Boss,It should be a pain on the neck to transport a bike from Fla to Ga and vise versa Now Ivan saw and tried my Orca and he said "this is a heck of a nice bike" it fit's him as well so maybe he lends me his training one to ride !! I'm just kidding.NO I will not be riding but I would love to.

Ivan has being bought from team to team since 2001,more than likely he will stay with Toyota United for another 3 season until he retires,Toyota United is the second best Domestic team in USA and for being a 2 year old team they've done a heck of a good job.
but you don't have to be a fan of a particular "rider" to have fun seeing him fly the way he does,is really impressing.

That's cool. I'd like to host a team or a couple pros one day.

So, did he explain why he doesn't usually sprint from the drops?

Ivan and his wife are both great people. Did they bring their dog to FL with them?

I'm assuming the other lady is your wife? She's a babe

Glad you guys had a good time.
