Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

They make a clacky sound as they roll past and smack the stays. We like to pretend we're riding 250cc dirtbikes.

https://fixedgeargallery.com/spokecards.htm

most of waht was posted in the other therad was spot-on too (aside from the completely unnecessary reactionary locking)

alot are cards from alleycats, the rest are just decorations. I laminate random stuff and put it in my spokes

sheesh.
Too much junk being posted at late hours has caused a crackdown on wayward threads.

You can probably thank me.

Spoke cards originated from racing, but hey, they're creative something to do. Make some cool ones for your friends and put them in their spokes when they're not looking!

I thought they originated from four-year olds. I had spoke cards before I even knew what an alley was, much less an alleycat...

I prefer cards in the spokes that make me sound like a motorcycle.

you can also stick a piece of paper with your phone number on it in hot people's spokes when they're not looking and hope they call you!
...not that I've done this...

i've left so many notes in the spokes of people's bikes that i know when i'd see them locked up somewhere
