Billyd Is Getting Upset!!
You folks know me. I NEVER rant and rave or fight with folks on this forum. I'm a lover, not a fighter. Just a peaceful, lovable guy.
But that's not the story right now. BILLYD IS GETTING UPSET!!!
I recently ordered a pair of PI 3D Microsensor shorts for myself, and a pair for my GF. They were on sale for 90 bucks each, a good sale from Performance, right? Same shorts, just male and female versions.
But when they arrive hers has the distinctive white stitching but mine doesn't. Mine has very UNdistinctive black stitching!! WHAT?!?!, I exclaim to myself. I check the labels and they both say the exact same thing: "Microsensor 3D Pro Short". So what'sa the deal with this??
I call Performance (they picked up right away, by the way) and inquire. Nice lady explains to me there's two versions of that short and the one I want, the one like my GF got in the same order as mine, the one with the white distinctive stitching, has been discontinued and they won't be stocking them anymore.
WHAT?!?!?!
GF, BTW, doesn't understand my duress. "They'll still feel and function the same" she says.
Please be patient with her, friends. She doesn't fully understand the mind of an Obsessive Compulsive Poseur. She can't quite grasp the fact that the look of the short, i.e., the white stitching, is EQUALLY if not MORE important than the function of the short. Yes, friends, she has a ways to go.
Now where am I going to find those shorts for $90?? THAT is the problem now.
BILLYD IS DEFINITELY UPSET!!!

Check the labels on them and see if one is newer than the other. I bought 3 or 4 pairs of those bibs when they were on sale and I think mine have the black stitching as well. Hers could be an older pair.

- You better get yourself a bottle of smooth bourbon and a shot glass, before you go postal. HURRY!!!
