I made a X Strap on my Chrome Bag
I finally did it. Now i have better weight support for my back. It cost all together bout $35 for the extra buckle and getting it sewed at a shoe repair store. I used an old book bag strap for it.

Interesting, have you tried loading it down with a real heavy load to see how it feels?
