As a follow up, I went on sunday. It took me a while to get there since they closed the road I needed to turn on, but I got there a little after noon. The 4 races I was were cool. Met some cool people. They ended up not doing the afternoon races, so the event ended about 1:30. Were any of you there? Did i meet you? I was wearing a black sultans tshirt and grey short. Looking a bit out of place.

They are a blast. Just wished I had looked behind me after sitting on Scott's wheel for 4 laps to see if Alex was gaining. Opps.

I know. I forgot to look back to see if he was gaining and he was; completely my fault. I sat on Scott's wheel for about 4 laps and we were gaining on Jack so things were looking good. I think what Alex should had done is after catching Scott and me is sit on my wheel and recover a bit. Even if I had gone to pass Scott and catch Jack he still could had sat on my wheel and then he'd only have to pass me which probably wouldn't had been too hard since he'd already be on my wheel. Instead he passed both of us continued to sit out in the wind and couldn't close the gap on Jack.

Austrailian pursuits end up being more like an endurance race becuase you end up with only two on the track battling it out. Who can go the longest and close the gap wins. For this these races are a ton of fun to compete in and for crowds to watch.
