Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

NYC!!! Who's Bike is This? You're S#it's getting jacked!

***I'm reposting this on the Bike forums site to help find the own of the bike**
I also posted it on the fixed.gr/nyc forum.
I'm not really on this site anymore so if anyone knows who's bike this is, feel free to contact me

I don't want to give the exact location of where it's locked up but it's somewhere in the LES. Reason being is that there could be vultures wanting to pluck the parts for themselves.

It's been locked up for a few weeks now missing the rear Phil Wood hub. Someone came at it with some bolt cutters knowing what was on it. It still has the Phil front, carbon cranks, carbon fork and so on. The seat and seat post were taken off of it a few days ago. Does this belong to anyone on here? You're ****s getting jacked. I'd say it's been about a month since it's been unlocked.

amazing and sad - there's a person in me that would beg to strip something - I'm a vulture in inner turmoil.

Where's the owner???

It would suck to get out of jail/the hospital and find that.

hospital maybe... but I'd expect a person who can afford carbon cranks and phil hubs wouldn't sit in the clink for more than a day or two.

I flipped through an excellent picture book that appeared to be a published collection of images of bikes locked up and left. As the pages progressed through to the end, so did the amounts of components missing.
