Where to carry cell phone?
I just upgraded my old Blackberry to a Motorola Razr Maxx HD and it doesn't fit in the tool bag under my saddle. I could just stick it in my back jersey pocked but 3 years ago my son ruined his Blackberry by sweating so much it killed the keyboard.
What are my options?
Get a larger tool bag.
Does anyone make a sweat proof bag I can put it in?

I'd add medical insurance card to that list too.

I only look at my phone when I stop. I use the "tune belt sport belt". I like my pockets empty.
I sometimes will put it in my top tube storage bag. It takes up the whole bag....so I only put it there for shorter rides.

Wow....That's like saying - "Does anyone make an electric cold storage device that I can put my beer in?"

I used to put my Blackberry in a ziplock bag but it always got torn. Must of been rubbing against the tool in the saddle bag. And yes, I put a $20 and a few singles with the phone. The singles are for a snack.
I have a RoadID so no need for ID.
I guess i'll just look for a thicker baggie.
Thanks for reassuring me that the obvious answer is the best. I just thought someone made a more durable water resistanr and cushioned bag. Like made of neoprene or something.

Relish your freedom and self reliance. Leave it home.
I used to feel that way, but I ride in rural areas and it occurred to me that if I ever have a bad crash or severe medical issue in the middle of nowhere, the ability to call 911 might save my life.

My girlfriend was getting frustrated with how loud I had the TV on so that I could hear it over my trainer. So she bought me this iPhone mount. It actually works pretty good your close enough that it's not hard to get into your movie at all.
It actually works pretty good if you listen to music while out on the road as well. Although I still use my Garmin for data.
I used to think that until I broke a chain 40 miles away from home with no phone... or chain tool.
