So not only is the bike worth more than the car, it gets more miles yearly.
That’s how it should be!

Easy flat ride didn't hurt the hip yesterday so I did it again today. I encountered a friend who was riding a Roubaix he just picked up for his wife after hers was run over. They were riding and he flatted and she put her bike on the ground on the shoulder of the road. A car drifted onto the shoulder and ran over the bike. The guy was apologetic and gave his insurance info and promised to pay for it. Later, when my friend got prices to replace the bike the guy balked, said he wouldn't pay because the bike was "illegally parked" and wasn't his fault. My friend called the guy's insurance and they cut a check the same day.
Anyway he likes the Roubaix more than his Tarmac and he might try to negotiate with his wife.

He lived in a condo and he entertained the kids at the condo pool with all kinds of tricks like walking on his hands and doing handstands on the diving board and then propelling himself into the water and other stuff. He was quite the ham till the day he died.

It may just be me; that picture is a perfect example of the look that drives me crazy with the WickWerks chainrings. I never liked the two-tone DA, and even worse was the FSA attempt to ape the look with the Gossamer crankset that was universal on the bikes in my price range a decade ago.
However, that bike would probably look good to me with mono-silver components.

As long-time readers may recall, I posted on pull ups many months ago. I couldn't do one (I'm talking real pull ups, not like the ones shown in that video), and made a New Year's resolution to change that.
Ten months down the road and I still can't do one, though I'm notably closer. I can pull to roughly my forehead.
Call it an excuse if you want, but I often have inflammation in my elbow that makes heavier weightlifting/pull ups/push ups problematic.

Which 2-tone DA cranks we talking bout? 7700 with the champagne rings on silver cranks or the 7900& 9000, which always remind me of AMC cars for some reason.

I'm talking about the 9000. I'd rather have it than the 9100, honestly. The 9100 is just....black. The 7800, to me, looks....fat. The 7700 looks like a less attractive version of the 7410, which is still, WITHOUT QUESTION the most beautiful crankset ever pruduced.

Apparently, WickWerks makes rings for Dura-Ace 9000.

I thought you were talking about these:
Eh, it depends on what frame it's hanging on .
I'll give you that it's the most beautiful crankset Shimano has ever produced.
Although the 3 arm 600 is damn close.

This is why I built up the Battaglin with 2006 Chorus - because it has that crank. Well, the Chorus version, anyhow. Almost as nice as the 7410 DA...
