Did you ever dream you would spend $1K to $10K + on a bike(s)?

Don't ya know, we live in the age of PC - gotta check that privilege at the door.
I just added two more bikes to my collection - one very high end with Campy Super Record EPS (albeit a clearance "bargain" bike because it's a 2013) and a so called "GMC Denali" I picked up at Wal-mart because I collect General Motors memorabilia.
I promise I'll only talk about the Wal-mart bike from now on (will be boring, going up on the wall in my rec room).

I learn a lot on these forums! Just in this thread alone I learned that it is Society-Faux-Pa to post what I paid for my bikes. But it's perfectly moral and OK to bag on someone because of the stickers he put on his bike!
Now I don't want to even mention about my Gucci Grocery Bag! It's a REAL GUCCI and cost even more than the bike in the pic. The last thing I want to do is make this forum feel uneasy.... you know.. "where this forum headed for a disaster of biblical proportions...real wrath of God type stuff....Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies!.... Rivers and seas boiling!... Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes.... The dead rising from the grave!....Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!"

Well I hope you don't go shopping at Wal-mart with that grocery bag - you'll make the other shoppers feel bad about themselves for having "lesser" shopping bags.
I really don't care who is jealous of what I have / I put in the sweat equity to be able to buy it as well as a substantial investment - 8 years of university tuition at various institutions and various levels was not cheap / not to mention the years of 60 plus hour workweeks, nights, evenings and weekends, missed family events etc because there was always another responsibility. I earned what I have ....

Time to use the word of the day.... Talking about how much hours you put in a week makes me feel UNEASY. Please think of the less-fortunate Lazies like me before posting your high work week hour count/cost.

If ErichVonCartman takes his Gucci bag to Wal-Mart, the folks there will think it is a cheap knock-off like theirs.
But if he rides his Nashabr Santa Cruz, they may feel uneasy.
By the way, I own X bike(s), all brand(s) X and I paid X for it/them. I work X hours a day, X days a week ... if I work (I might or might not.) ... just so you all can sleep easy during this XMas season.

I understand putting a City's name on my Bicycle may offend a lot of people. But I was just wondering, and am taking a poll.
What is more offensive?
1) Putting "City of Santa Cruz" Decals on a Nasbar Carbon 105 Road Bike
2) Lance Armstrong putting "Trek" Stickers on his Litespeed bike during the 1999 Tour De France
3) A company paying Sony so they can put Sony Decals on their DVD Players?
For me it's between 1 and 2... because the way I see it, #3 is the Least offensive, because as we all know, as long as you pay someone for the "right" to use their name on something that you yourself made.. well that makes everything legal, and "just.

I don't think he is bragging. I think he is pointing out his mistake.
You can't get a Masters without a Bachelors... and why get 2 Bachelors? Is it because you made a mistake getting the first Bachelor.
