Actually commuted in today! I'm gonna do more than just ride on the weekends now, that's my training plan.

But you'll be up there in the 3's with us soon enough I'm sure.
Sure, not *officially* 2s

2 hour SST ride. 140 tss, 1489 kj. I went out without any particular goal, just letting my legs dictate the ride. Pleased.

Rode about one hour outside. Had to go to a doc's appointment (had to leave at 1:15 PM) so cut the ride short. Absolutely exhausted from the ride. Fell asleep at said appointment. Came back home about 4, don't remember getting into bed (at least I took my shoes off). Woke up for dinner when the Missus came home, fell asleep again. Just woke up again.

Riding outside in the cold is tiring. Jeepers.

Change up of the trainer routine. Started 15 watts below my trainer est FTP and every fime minutes raised the watts by 5 until I failed to hit 5 minutes. Good reverse pacing exercise and a nice change.

Commute this morning - in shorts!

Lawdy knows my legs need some sun. Too bad we don't have much of it around here..

Massive-for-January group of 14 riders at today's balmy lunch ride. A rude awakening - when the fast guys decide they want to go fast (which they haven't through the cold months), it's harder to stay on than I remembered it being. Probably doesn't help that today makes five riding days in a row, my legs still feeling the CP20 test I did on Sunday... Looking forward to more of the lunch rides being "spirited" as the weather improves.

60 minutes. 1 form sprint. 5x30" sprints on a 2 mile loop (~6' recovery). #2 was better than #1. #3 better than #2. #4 better than #3. #5 was better than #2.

Done.

Went home a little early to get in some training. Didn't do it. Just didn't feel like it today. It was supposed to be 1.5 hours easy. Tomorrow is another day.

No. Loops in my hood actually. I used to do these laps a couple of years ago until I nearly got creamed by a momwagon, but was pressed on time this evening so figured I'd do it tonight. The sprint starts at Norton Elementary heading EAST, after 30" ease up, take a right at the traffic circle, ride down to 39th, head west to 24th, head north back to Norton. Nice little 2.3 mile loop.

And I finished watching "Metropolis" on Netflix.
