Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fun Spanish word I learned looking at car ads today:

quemacoco

literally, it essentially means burning coconut.

In a car ad, it's a sunroof.

Since coco is sometimes used to mean a human head

Going to start getting back in the pool now that the HOA one is open. Suddenly realized this will be rough; I don't even have a real suit anymore.

We used to color at least 2 dozen eggs for Easter, when I was a ute. Always on the night before Easter. The kitchen, hell the whole house smelled of vinegar, which used with the old Paas egg coloring kits. Easter morning, Dad, who was an early riser, used to hide all the ones that weren't in our Easter Baskets. Maybe half were pretty easy, but Dad took great pride in there always being one or two we couldn't find, so he could show off by 1) remembering where he'd hidden all of them and 2) revealing how fiendishly clever he was.

At the end of my ride today, power source critically low popped up on my garmin. Is this for the power meter?
