Thanks guys for all your compliments! Im really happy with this bike.
This bike weigh in at 18.75lb. Not bad.
Im in the market for a front brake and im still researching on whats a good caliper, pads, and lever. I want to mount the lever on the right side and trying to find a caliper that will route the cable the right way.
@vixtor: i am looking for something close to that color to touch up the nicks.

haha thanks man!
VO makes quality stuff. after having a conversation about the tall stack vs the regular stem size, i was pretty convinced i was not going to get the tall stack due to the fact that you cant make adjustments. after i measured with some left over spacers and stem to my size, the length of the steerer tube had enough to fit the VO tall stack nicely. i realized that this bike was built for me, so i shouldnt have to keep adjusting the stem height. I just love how quill stem looks, and the look of no spacers.

what fork is that on your green 722TS? I like it better than the godzilla, madison, etc. one.

hey its the thread I've been waiting a year for. I've had mine since last November and here are my main thoughts.
Pros
-construction and powder-coat are top notch, the dropouts are burlier than they look.
-ride quality is great, sharp and stiff. Some of these cheap steel track bikes don't ride appreciably better than a decent road race,(#1, prestige, sl etc) conversion. This bike does, or at least as well.
-The frame looks great and without that crappy fork is quite light.
-tire clearance, I can ride mine off-road with 35-40c tires (with cross fork). Yet even in the rear it still uses normal reach brakes
Cons
-THE STEEL FORK! Its overbuilt, dead feeling, and not even that stiff. The chrome is also kind of crappy. I put a carbon cross fork on mine and haven't regretted it. I wouldn't even bother buying the stock steel fork, put the $100 towards a better piece and do the excellent frame justice.
-the open ends of the chainstays are exposed. This isn't too big of a deal, but when I was messing on this bike a lot of water and crap was getting inside the frame. The few times I pulled the bb there was rusty sludge all in the bb shell, more than there should be.

They're OK, and the chrome does look nice with a solid frame color. I just don't feel that the fork is on the same quality level as the frame.
Like I said, I found the fork to be dull and heavy. It does its job, and after a good 3 or 4k mine is still straight and intact. It certainly doesn't NEED to be replaced, but you'll have a noticeably more responsive (and lighter) bike if you ditch it.
It's the same fork that ends up on a lot of bikes at this price-point.

Nice builds, I also have a green one.
As far as tire clearance, the fattest I ever went (bike is in the closet for winter) was a 35c slick in the back. There was clearance for a 35 c knobby but only if the axle was in the rear half of the track ends.
the stock steel fork will roughly clear a 32 with a caliper. I had a fat schwalbe 32 marathon on there with no problems. Though if you want to do any serious (as serious as you can get on a tarcklocross) trail riding the stock fork WILL get jammed up with stick/leaves when used with a fat tire.
Using a pretty generic Devinci crabon cross fork I was able to run a 42 semi knobby in the front with ample clearance for trail debris.
It performs admirably off road, even with the high saddle to bar drop and too large street gear I used. This winter the bike is going to see drops, a canti instead of a v-brake, and possibly a freewheel.
