IMO, there's enough white on the frame to justify a while saddle option, but ONLY if the bar tape is also white (Admittedly, I have a fondness for that look). A white bottle cage would also be appropriate, if one was to go that route. All that said, black saddle and tape definitely works.

2024 Madone SLR7 (stock color "Axinite Flip") with Aeolus RSL51 wheelset and a Selle SMP Composit saddle...
I did my best to find a neutral background. The brown garage door was the best I could do while still getting a decent photo.
I think she's super hot, but I know some will hate the aesthetics of the saddle as well as the gravity cap on the stem for my head unit. Others may frown upon the single 15mm spacer. Then there's the group that simply finds the design of the current Madone (with the IsoFlow seat tube) to be an abomination . It's all good, I can handle it .

Which color is that? Just picked up the same bike but in black.
You have my hot vote. I do hate the saddle though.
Question about that spacer. I was under the impression that you cannot ride it with spacers on top. I know this was true on the Gen 6 with the SLR cockpit. I ended up never cutting the steerer tube on my Gen 6 because I couldn’t try it out at a lower level. So did trek say the spacer was okay? I need to drop my stem on my gen 7 yesterday.

As for the spacer, it's not really a spacer. It's a k-edge gravity cap. It attaches and functions like a normal top cap / preload, with the bolt screwing into the compression plug. What looks like a spacer is just the upper portion of the top cap, which accepts a wahoo or garmin mount for a head unit. IMO it's a clever option for securing the stem cover.
Trek provides two (2) stem covers: one that covers and conceals a flat top cap, and one with a circular cutout that leaves the top cap exposed. Both "snap" into place over the stem and stem bolts via clips. However, there is still some play after fully "snapped in". The gravity cap serves to keep the assembly tight, secure, and free from rattles, while also providing a handy-dandy mount for my head unit. IMO, the design and function of the Madone top cap cover is poo-poo... and I absolutely hate rattles. Since I actually like the gravity cap, it ends up being a non-issue (but Trek really should design a better cover that snaps securely into place without any play).

The color is called "axinite flip". According to a google search... axinite is a "brown to violet-brown, or reddish-brown bladed group of minerals".

Bummer. Got my hopes up that I could drop and try before cutting. I don’t think that will be the case.
Way too much spacers.

The Colnago Dream used the high end Altec2 tubing. The Dream was comparable to a US Made Caad4-Caad5 frame regarding quality. The Rolf wheels have equiped Trek bikes for some years and were considered of very good quality and durable.

When I first saw it, I wasn’t thrilled about the color, but everyone has the white one where I live. I don’t like the color red, and me and my bud already have matching emonda a we don’t need to have matching madones if I got the black and orange one. The best thing about this color it doesn’t scratch. My gen 6 that I never rode, had scratches all over the finish and when the light hit it, it looked terrible.
