That missed face mask call on one of the Eagle's fumbles was a bummer. And the act of grabbing the face mask very well could have been the cause of the fumble. I agree with the NFL rules guy who was asked to comment. Personal safety penalties like that should be reviewable.

I have been to Fargo. Arrived by bike. But during the summer (July).
I find North Dakota strangely appealing. Rode across the entire state back in '99 while crossing the country. Went back in 2006 for CANDISC. Took a tour of the homestead where Larence Welk grew up.

It's the times when I really don't feel like going for a bike ride that I really must go. 86 degrees F, and somewhat humid. No wind to speak of. Cold front and rain coming in later in the week provide a good reason to take the bull by the horns now, on this beautiful day.

Thanks. That's fine. Orthopod wants LSS on it for post-op pain management after he does her knee. Her mom developed AF, CHF, and a stroke on a cox2 inhibitor, maybe one of the really bad ones, and I assume she had small vessel cardiac disease, so it gives me the willies. LSS would rather take rat poison than opiates.

I think they are doing a local block as well as the epidural and will send her home with some narcs. Opiates give her untreatable nausea and she's amazingly brave about pain, so they'll end up at drug turn-in day with all the other crap that's been pressed on us over the years.

But the missed face mask last night was glaringly obvious. Wasn't no incidental contact. Damn near twisted his head 45 degrees.

I felt like I'd forgotten something, as I left. Five or six km in, I happened to glance down and noticed I only had one glove on. Good thing it wasn't a sweat fest.

I like to stay off the bike if it's 30-40° F with precipitation. Below and above that is OK. Below is kinda sketchy if not on a MTB though.

I don't really have a cut-off temperature, but the temperature is a factor in bike choice.

You mean you stop wearing cut-offs below 70F?
