@KRS thanks for responding I thought it was all in one. Looked like a nice bag to have when riding with my son for tools, snacks, tubes, snacks, etc haha

Here's my latest project and daily commuter:
A slightly overkill, fully homebrewed, full carbon, 1x11 Di2/Ultegra/XTR/Force1/Cosmic Pro flatbar. It's as fun to rip through the streets of Copenhagen on it as it is silly.![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

had some extras done to my CX/Commuter/Roadie hybrid
Robert Axle Project threaded through axle replacing the R.A.T on the rear
Shimano HG601 chain
Pair of Shimano RT56 160mm 6 bolters
pair of Alex Rims XD-Lite's with Velocity light weight hubs and D.T Alpine III black spokes
in the mail:
700x32c Conti 4-season to replace the Rocket Rons as my commuter tyre
Fabric Scoop Elite Flat to try out in replace of the Specialised Romin Evo
I've had a Thomson Elite seat post and Steel Matte Black fork for a while. Flipped the stem and added a spacer for a more upright position.
Overall pretty happy!

Midnight Special on its first morning commute
![](https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikeforums.net-vbulletin/1120x2000/img_20190403_070526615_719faee759283d63e2e3cf32e37e229c7661bd57.jpg)
I bought this Midnight Special yesterday. Brooks saddle, pedals, and Tubus rack swapped from my Specialized.

I started mixing in my new Cannondale Synapse in as a backpack commuter. Flat pedals because it’s still too cold in the morning for my spd shoes.

Why would you want to trim those ^^^^^ stays? Don't those act to keep the back bottom corner of the pannier from swinging into the spokes?
BTW, does that rear rack set the pannier back pretty far?

Bikes: This list got too long: several ‘bents, an urban utility e-bike, and a dahon D7 that my daughter has absconded with.

I have been using this one. Nothing special, it is a Bikes Direct with some fenders and Wald racks. I doubt I would recommend this model because the rear hardpoints are a problem to actually use. Yes, it is an e-bike. The motor is a Tongsheng TSDZ2, no throttle, just the torque sensors. . . how do you make it go? By pedalling it.

This has been my commuter for the last couple of months.

This bike has been through a few different configurations (drop bar, north road, flat bar), but I plan to keep it like this for awhile.

Drop bars off, straight bar back on. I get indexed shifting back, too, woot woot. After several months just wasn’t loving the drop bar on this bike, maybe it’s the geometry, I dunno.

I’m gonna try commuting on this one for a while as well, it rides much better with drop bars:
