I missed a turn and had a gravel surprise a week ago Saturday, but turned around rather than rattle my old bones for a mile. I have, however, hit some pretty deep and sharp-edged holes at speed with no hint of bottoming out.

To wit, my jaunt this evening into Forks of the River Wildlife Management Area to see the sunflowers.
I also saw goldfinch(?) and other small birds. #Flowers #Birding #Walking
For those keeping score that's two activities today with zero naps. And I'm still going strong!

I did absolutely no riding during the weekend. I did walk about 33km over the weekend. With an overnight pack on.
This was the sunrise at our campsite though.
We may have also crossed some lovely semi frozen streams.
