25.6 miles, negligible winds, 53°F, 1H 44M 35S, a day to get some kinks worked out and some miles in.

There are several rides in the Tucson area, several good (and fast) local clubs, and several brevets. Good luck

No ride yesterday due to feeling a bit under the weather. Got up this morning feeling a lot better but still had the sniffles. I can't afford to catch a cold right now. Waited for it to warm up some and went out this afternoon for a very nice 31 mile ride. I was a little overdressed but that was quickly remedied after the first lap.

15.15 miles, 1H 03M 19S, winds came up during my ride this afternoon, a strong WSW wind kept things interesting. Temps were mild with blue, clear skies, 59°F.

26 chilly miles this morning with a newbie bike forum friend. He was very happy with the ride as he did his personal best in distance today; up from 19 miles.

61+ miles on a cool and breezy day. Longest ride since being sick and it hurt me pretty good. The 61 miler felt harder than the 100 milers I'd done the month before. I sure hope the poor performance was from the recovery process as opposed to the new norm.

81 miles doing part of a 110 mile delayed Winter Solstice ride. 45 degrees at the start, 75 degrees at the turnaround. I've got to get a rack (I have a trunk) to store all the layers you have to shed in these conditions. This is a ride to the Pinnacles National Monument. Only 3100 feet of climbing, but it somehow feels like more probably because you're doing almost all the climbing on the way out.

Waydago!

Won't be long you'll be running metric centuries.

40 miles on the C&O Canal, from DC past Great Falls to Swains Lock and back. It was coldish at 25 degrees, but the wind. My god, the wind! Fortunately it was from the NW so I had a tailwind on the way back.

100km, as opposed to 100mi. 100km is approximately 62.14mi. It's a great fun distance, not so far as to take all day but offering a nice sense of satisfaction.

OK, that's my new goal. A metric centurey. This is going to take a while to build up to and maybe a new bottle of chain lube. It's only 3 times my best up to date!

Saturday: 15.16 miles, pleasant temps but a blustery SW wind, 1H 02M 55S,
Sunday: 25.60 miles, all together beautiful day all round, 1H 46M 19S

Closed out a fair mileage week with a nice, sunny day and excellent weather ahead of the next cold snap.

BroBob, welcome aboard 50+, that is a good goal to aim at, hope it goes well for you, please keep us posted on your progress.

30 miles this morning, out of a scheduled 66, in cool windy weather. Didn't take long to warm up but the winds didn't subside. No rain in the forecast but that didn't stop the rain from coming down.

Today was such a nice day, that my errand riding somehow turned into a 14 mile trip to the Clarke Bridge and back. I've felt the need to blow the cobwebs out of my legs from all this cold weather and snow. Seeing the iced-over Mississippi, with only the ice in the barge-lanes broken up, was quite a sight.
