VDV was the company of Jos Van de Vel, a former Belgian pro, who became a successful fuel trader after expanding his bike shop into hearths and furnaces. He sponsored a local cycling club, De Nieuwe Hoop Tielen. This must have been one of their jerseys. BTW, Van de Vel passed away in 2012, at age 89 ...
