Salamandrine, thank you for reviving the thread. I've been busy. I'm back in college, and we had to treat our home for bedbugs, and my daughter got married yesterday!

Let me see, what do we have here … how bout Cinelli SC, 10 miles on it from new, former owner Hunter S. Thompson. Hung on the wall in his office. And Serotta Ottrott, which is a really fantastic bike.

Reposted from my thread in which I resurrected it after a cracked frame, I give you the sesquilaminate Rustoleum Joe Bell Pollack Mercedes-Benz Claud Butler Wanderer Commuter Special! Sometimes I just call it the War Horse, for its steady performance. It's been hit by cars twice, frame cracked once, repainted numerous times, and still carries me reliably into battle (work). One day I will retape the bars. Last time I did it was ten years ago, and the tape is still three quarters there...

I will build this into a bike one day. Whether that will be in this color remains to be seen. If I could find the correct foil decals for a Dawes (it is a Mirage), I would repaint it in the original silver.
