Took the Pelizzoli out for a 42 mile jaunt yesterday. Cool and cold and slightly warm, depending whether you were in the shade, coming out of the shade, or in the sun...when the sun was out. Still, a lovely day before Easter. Tomorrow we are supposed to see snow.

So nice, I didn't want to stop to take pictures!

Took a nice mountain ride about 10 miles on the on the bike trail to Alma and 15 or so back on the dirt roads. Great riding condition on the back roads just damp with a bit of pack so almost no mud or dust.

Wow! Low snow year for CO.

Got MUCH more snow than that at 2500'. Your snow just doesn't include enough moisture.

edit: maybe a POWder day at Crystal. Would sliding pics substitute for riding pics?

Yesterday, I had a two hour struggle putting in a front derailleur cable in. When I was done, my wife got done putting sealant on the new tile floor in the new foyer, so we went out for a seven mile ride (in the country). It was her second ride of the season, so it was tough for her. But we had a grand time, as short as it was.

Rode to the Heart of the Hills, the tougher part of the route to Hurricane Ridge near Port Angeles, Washington. Strava stats show a 4.4 mile segment that climbs 1415 feet......a 6% average climb, but some parts are in the 8%+ range. I was soaking wet at the turnaround point and was bitter cold after the decent.

Wow, love this one.

If you decide to move it on someday, give me a holler.

Might have to break the "no new projects" rule.

I have the tallboy and a salsa Fargo and I pretty much wouldn’t trade either of them for anything (except maybe a ti Fargo)

Hear you on the Ti Fargo.

That's a top shelf frameset I think.

I had a 2012 Fargo and it was a great bike.

Just too much duplication around here atm.

I ended up using my BMC Monstercross most of the time, but no knock on the Fargo at all.

Thanks! It is a really fun ride. Just a hair over 21lbs as pictured. Makes climbing so much less of challenge...

Spring, right?

April 3rd... "April showers bring May flowers" right? WTF is this!?

So many cool bikes to ride, just hangin' in the garage...

Thanks for all the photos from habitable climates - it keeps hope alive...

Or something. Sorry... just getting a bit depressed by all this "climate change" crap.

Time for a snow bike! Not my thing but I work with Orthopedic Oncology surgeon that commutes regularly 14mi. from Vancouver WA. to Clackamas OR. including winter before last when we had 6 to 10in. of snow, half the people couldn't get there by car.
