Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

On a bike you can never get back anything near what you put in going upwind.

Had filet mignon tonight. Had to cook it inside due to the rain mentioned earlier. Unfortunately I applied the same rules to my electric oven that I apply to my gas grill and it ended up being well done.

On another note the grass I planted in the front yard is starting to grow. It’s growing on the hill where I assumed it wouldn’t grow so to the extreme steepness. It’s not growing where it is relatively flat, both get the same amount of sun. Curious.

Is that the soundtrack of your mind while sailing?

Here is my soundtrack while riding: the Woo-Hoo song!

Fun Fact: Unless it's a washout area, grass can grow on steep slopes.

Same with those people in the video WhyFi shared. I know I'll keep that in mind from here on out.
