Oh, I was walking to the grocery store this morning and was surprised by this young lady, who was evidently waiting for this Japanese restaurant to open -

I think rock climbing would be fun, buts it’s not in me these days. I’ve done some climbing using ropes and ascenders, and have done some rappelling. I can assure you, going down is much more fun.
Curious about something - are you a cook/chef by trade, just enjoy it, or just better than anyone else in the house? Breakfast talk, holiday cookies, coffee talk and the like makes me curious.

Felt like riding the Cannondale today, so that's just what I did! I realized I hadn't posted a picture of it in the final form, with the gray wheels, so I stopped in Woodside by a handy wall...
Got home and looked at Strava, and somehow I'd reached "Local Legend" status on one segment. I think it helps that there are alternatives to this route, so riding this exact one might be uncommon.

Stay-at-home dad that's a better cook than mom (my wife can do a little baking, but is out of sorts in a kitchen, otherwise). I get some enjoyment and satisfaction out of cooking, and I'd say that I'm competent, but no Iron Chef candidate. Breakfast was my thing before the kids came along - we used to have friends and neighbors over for brunch pretty regularly. My wife's cousin will still bring up the eggs Benedict brunch that I made for the crew when we stayed with them while visiting 15 years ago. I think they want to do that again, but that was a ton of work - it was for something like 10-12 people, I don't know what I was thinking.

FYI - I just started stalking you. I'd send you an invite to the group page, but it looks as though I can't unless you're following me, as well.

How much of an off-season do cyclists have/take in your area? If some people take it easy over the winter, the rolling 90 day count is a big factor this time of the year. On a ride about two weeks ago, I got 5 LLs just because I was out, others weren't, and fall activities were dropping off the boards.

We had a chicken and rice dish that had sundried tomatoes in it. Also, no fries. It was very good.

Note to Velo Vol : I didn't drink all of that water. Hadn't decided how far I would go when I started. Ended up only riding for about an hour.

After yesterday's 32 road miles and the pretty stiff south winds today my legs were pretty cooked by the end of it.

We had lentils, rice, and buttered carrots. No fries. No free peanuts. Very good nonetheless.

Just listed my bass amp for sale, and now after getting it cleaned up, taking some pictures, and creating some ad copy with all the pertinent features I'm not realy wanting to sell it anymore
So I'm trying to make up for it by listing the sell price a couple hundred bucks more than I initially intended to list it for

More pick and wheelbarrow work today, and more hobbling. Tomorrow is a day off, to take the car in for its 45k km check-up. It's a good thing, cause I'm bushed after two hard, physical days.

That's exactly how I DON'T want the Circuit to turn out!
I ordered a stem with a longer quill than the Cinelli 1A, but not THAT long! That's just silly.
