Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'll join the chorus clamoring for better pics. Love this one.

Thanks. I almost sold the crankset because I was afraid the rotor q-rings would pose a drivetrain issue with SR11. After speaking to Praxis, I decided to buy a set to mix with the 3D+ crankset/SR11 drivetrain and just as advertised, it works flawlessly. These chainrings remind of the stronglight ct2 rings on the easton ec90 carbon crankset. Smooth and quiet shifts from big to small, small to big. Now I'm just waiting for Praxis to release the Campy specific 11spd chainrings so I can replace the grey rings on the chorus crankset.

Why not use the sensor pod built into the bike. No need for external sensors.

To be honest, between the Garmin head unit & cadence/speed sensor on the back wheel, the ANT pickup on the rear chain stay & the Bontrager head unit I didn't think it would work without the Bontrager sensor. I'll give it a try.

I'm currently experimenting with short reach flat top bars on other bikes, with an eye toward investing in some here. (Buying cheap used stuff and putting it on other bikes and if I like it, buying for this bike.) For instance I am liking the 3T ergonova on another of my bikes, but wish it had a flatter top.

I really like my Zipp SC CSL SSR bars. The flat top is real nice and I place the cables on the rear so it feels even flatter.

The Duotrap and Garmin are both ANT+. I've used them together before.

That is how my bike is setup. Get the Bontrager sensor, it is ANT+ That way you have nothing zip tied to your bike.

Ah, the Bontrager Trip 4W is not ANT+. But I should be able to get rid of the Garmin speed/cadence sensor that is basically sitting right on top of the Trek Duo Trap sensor.

If i just picked one of those up, I'd be registering on bike forums to show it off too. Nice bike.

bars taped the wrong way, qr levers on the wrong side, bars should be angled up a little, but it looks good.

i would've bought a nicer helmet before carbon clincherss
