Quick Update: Just finished sending PMs to another 10 participants with his/her assignment. Hope to send more by lunch time. Patience please, doing my best to balance between C&V work and ministry.

Your Secret Santa Supervisor just checked his list twice, and if I kept track accurately, every participant has been PMed his/her assignment.

Of course I am human and errors can and do occur. If you have not received a PM from me on either Tuesday or Wednesday, please PM me and let me know.

Some interesting stats:

In 2012, 18 participated. In 2013, 36 participated, so double the number.

Of the 18 in 2012, 11 returned to play in 2013.

I'm not certain but this is the 3rd year to do C&V Secret Santa (that I remember). From the above stat, I'd say we had a 61% success rate, which compared to batting averages is really good. Compared to test score averages for passing a college course--- not so hot!

I think I've been in 5-6 years of them - though I'm not sure if it happened before that. It's definitely over 3.

I thought C&V work was a ministry.

It would be nice if everyone one participating had a post in this thread, so far I can not find my assigned person in the member list or on this thread.

He/she might have contacted me without posting.

I realize some assignments will be more challenging than others. I should say that my process to make assignments was purely random. I only made certain that someone who participated last year did not receive the same assignment. As it turned out, I didn't have to make any changes.

I got my assignment. Thank you, Pastor Bob. I replied by email. Did I use your preferred email address? I have two or three for you. I'm not sure if they're all active.

In Advanced Search (top right hand corner) you can search based on user name.

My person seems to be into Treks, Schwinns and vintage touring bikes. Should be fairly straightforward, I'm into the same stuff!

I figured out how search for user by name. Amazing things happen when I open my eyes and look...

My apologies if I came across as grumpy, it was unintended.

Thank you for organizing all of this, good stuff.

Just to reconfirm Bob, I have my assignment.

I will likely ship pronto, as I have been instructed by the CFO here to ship my gifts earlier this year.

No joking! I've been honored and asked to officiate their nuptials if we can work out a date that fits everyone schedules. Could be a first!
