Wow, lots of Allez bikes in here.
I test rode one about a week ago and thought it rode fantastically. It was smooth, didn't jolt my spine like I expected it to, and was wicked fast.
Of course I'm used to riding a swobo dixon city bike.
Anyway, I'm considering picking one up. What are the equivalent bikes from the other big Manufacturers?

My road bike
This is my 2006 Trek 2100. The only changes are the replacement of the factory pedals with some Shimano Ultegra pedals. I have also put the usual add-ons on the bike.

My new Tarmac pro(61), I recently purchased the 07 frame and used componets from my Motto Grand Sprint(great starter bike)
Ultegra shifters, brakes, front and rear derailers
Dura ace cassette(12-25), pedals, and cables
Ritchey wcs carbon evolution sl bars, 120 carbon stem, protocol wheels
Thompson seat post
FSA slk 175 crankset
Specialized toupe saddle.
Great bike so far, a world of difference from the Motto.

Not a road bike (that's coming, RS2 with Record and Williams) but this is the "end result" of a hit-and-run accident from last year, my settlement =

Yeah, it's sweet. I want a black/red combo myself, but one that doesn't have that David Lee Roth tigerstripe effect.

wow im glad i got done with road biking, and moved on to fixed gears/single speed. because let me tell you, none of these road bikes look nearly as good as something like this:
Sold it though (soooo glad because it was a single speed not fixed gear)however i did get a new bike.
SOMA RUSH!

We don't impose our "impure muli-speed bicycles" on you, so don't come over here.
Go eat a gun.
::EDIT::
You're bike is a $200 piece of **** WalMart road bike, and two slave-made Tektro brakes hooked up to brake leavers that remind me of scalding hot sickles sharp enough to circumsize a flea. Way to be original.
::EDIT2:: And don't bother arguing with me, because I'm right and you're wrong.

You should be in ss/fg forum dood.
Most people here are concerned with going fast as opposed to looking good.
You have left the world of performance+fitness and joined the world of aesthetics+slow people.
Have fun gettin your ass dropped! (though I doubt you would care at this point)

Just Picked Up About A Week Ago...
2007 Giant TCR C3.
I love it! Already an addict to the road. I set the iPod on and I never want to stop. Some day I will get a better bike, but this is working right now so why change?
