Actually he first tweeted out Big 5 at Scottsdale Fashion as the meetup, then everyone's like huh, there's no Big 5 there.

Thanks. I'm drenched in electronics, so I've been running Rouvy from my W10 Surface Book (with weak but discrete card) and can certainly run the core app on my iPhone, and all my sensors toss out BT anyway; I record via ANT+ to my watch for my records and the BT output just sits on Rouvy's servers. Plus a TV for additional video.
But man, moving the standard premium to $15 for training apps is brutal (thanks Zwift). I don't think that's going to compete with Rouvy any time soon for me.
I'd really like to try the Tacx software, but limiting it to their own hardware sucks.

I’m worried about speed sync issues with ride-on-a-recorded-video type apps, but may give Rouvy a shot after I tried RGT For a week or two.

I only knew about it hours before it happened. Why do I have better information than the police?

Velo Vol is under no curfew, but doesn't feel like going anywhere anyway.

Went for a little ride today and decided to take a detour to roll down the main drag where the protests have been taking place. Most buildings are boarded up, many with words of support for the protesters and/or proclamations of being owned by families and/or by people of color; it's hard to say how much damage they took before getting boarded up. Also saw about a dozen buildings reduced to piles, some of them still smoldering, a police precinct building being the most notable. Also saw hundreds (thousands?) of volunteers, with brooms or shovels in hand, cleaning up what they could, while others set up aid stations with food and water for those in need (many of the grocery stores in the area are boarded up, so some residents don't have access to the basics).
Last night was relatively quiet, 10k National Guard troops, thundering down the road in Humvees and firing off rubber bullets will do that, I suppose, and they're shutting down freeways and bridges even earlier tonight. Ah, to go back to being bored with quarantine.

And they preempted the race as soon as the main event started. Santa Monica has a 4:00 curfew. !00s of people are still in the streets. There has been looting all day People just bring cars right up to the stores and load their cars.

Somewhere in a John Hughes movie some teenagers are rolling their eyes.
