It's your call. How much have you turned a wrench in your life? I've probably used a torque wrench three times on a bicycle in the last 50 or so years. The last time was just to get an idea how tight the spec torque for a carbon seat post was.

Don't tighten it too tight. Don't tighten it too loose. However if you have sense enough to check it occasionally, too loose is better than too tight IMHO.
