BITD we used natural chamois, similar to the things we used to dry our cars. We had to use something to soften the board stiff leather before using.

I was about to say that I don't think most of the shorts we use today are actually made of chamois, but that's the term we use.

another vote for Aerotech

their top stuff is very good - substantial / supportive / durable ... not the flimsy / wimpy stuff

still made in the USA I believe ... in Corapolis PA (near Pittsburgh)

actually an interesting story - started as a hobby / small company (Schnaubelt Sports or Shorts ?) - and then grew and later supplied companies like Nashbar, Descente, maybe Performance (?)

another vote for neopro cycling bibs. Great quality, fit and affordable. Very comfortable on a 3-4 hour rides
