Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I believe Cabo is a bit of a kite surfing hub. Will you be partaking?

Have to take my wife for an MRI Thursday AM. She’s been suffering from some pretty severe hip pain for a couple of months and despite this decided to run a half in mid-November.

They initially thought it was a case of bursitis, but it has not improved and she is really struggling of late. Went to see a sports med Dr (not a cutter) who worked some wonders with me through platelet rich therapy and deep muscular lidocaine injections. He said she’s exhibiting all of the symptoms of a femoral neck stress fracture.

If that’s the case her winter is ****ed and I feel pretty awful for the toll it’ll take on her mentally.

Should be ok unless you have poorly controlled blood pressure (or on an old fashioned medicine called a MAO Inhibitor). Be sure to get the "good stuff" pseudophedrine behind the counter. May cause insomnia if taken too close to bedtime.

Great.

Dude is going to be getting in a car to drive home, and will likely hit my house at about 3:00 am tweaking like a meth head.

it is a quick release , but it's cartridge bearings so the end caps keep the preload on the bearings and provide a place for the dropouts to rest.

I hope you get it all sorted out. Don't take this wrong but you make me look lucky. That says a lot.

He did have a can of energy drink on his workbench in one pic, can we get a count from the passenger side floor when he arrives?

#In2ndPlaceInTheBadLuckGame

My great grandfather stole a pig or something from a gypsie back in the day. My family has had terrible luck ever since.

Just a dieuretic but that’s for my leg not blood pressure. 130/80 yesterday which is a little higher than normal for me. I’ll say it’s because of stress.

Is that Jodie Foster playing Diana Nyad on Netflix??? Might have to check that out tonight.

Or maybe Annette Benning? Must be playing Nyad 20 years apart, or one of them is her coach, we'll see tonight.

Wake up at 3 am, on the bike by 4 am, get home at 7:30 am, protein shake, throw sweat pants on and a hoodie, get in car, drive Amelia to school, drop Amelia off, continue to drive Simon around until he naps.

Yes energy drinks are required to keep me awake.

Why does Steve Martin always look like he is 56 years old in every movie he played in?

The hair. He started going gray early. One of my sisters is like that. Her hair was going gray by 30 and by 60 was snow white.

Meanwhile, Mrs. GJ's hair is still brown at 65, with only a very few individual gray hairs. Go figure.

I need a bike to ride. I am going insane and this hotel gym sucks. The only bikes they have in the gym are the recombant ones or the ones that look extremely weird. You sit super high on them, usually see than at Physical Therapy places.
