Pictures of you suffering in a race (please credit photographer)

Haha yeah, the face is the best part! That was last week's Early Bird where I took second. That was probably taken just after I gave that accidental warning yell. The winner was a couple bike lengths ahead, off the left side of the photo and I was closing in fast, but don't think I really had much of a chance. I sure was trying hard though haha!

OK, so I sound like a shill and am embarrassed to effuse too much praise on it, but it's pretty sweet for the way I ride.
I have to swallow my pride when I put it on, but in the pictured race I was able to hold my break at 26mph for 10 miles into a slight headwind. At that pace I feel like it makes a tangible difference. If nothing else, seeing the funky profile in my shadow reminds me to tuck down and put the helmet into the wind.
Definitely less venting than the prevail, and 80g heavier, but I've yet to wear it on a hot day and the weight trade is not bad for the alleged aero gain.

Not sure if suffering or not but they are of me racing . Photos by: my girlfriend.
I am the middle one on the back row. This is the start of the race.
Contesting the sprint!! My first road race . I am the one on the right with black/red helmet and orange glasses
Ok, I'll admit it. This is the pic where I was suffering the most. Warm up 20 minutes before the race. I was Shi*** myself. I hope those nerves come down the more I race because it is hard to take.

I've done 15 races so far and get less nervous. Still get them a bit though - I assume it's normal to some extent. Sometimes I get nervous googling the course and planning it out. Got nervous driving up for a rainy crit on Saturday. And of course a little each time I line up right before they blow the whistle.

I'm in this picture, too! I'm the one on the front to the right of Mr. Catlike helmet. Please PM me if you have any more picture from the race.
Was a fun race (Cat 5 -34). 3-man break which held off until the end. Saw online that one of them had a NP of 332W (~4.3 w/kg) for the 21 miles, so no big surprise they stayed away.

I'll have to check the pics when I get home but I will tell you.. my GF is not known for being a bad photographer but rather a horrendous photographer. So anything I have (except for the shot above) will most likely be crap. I'll let you know though. It was nice racing with you.
