Very nice DiabloScott. I think at some point I'll switch to white bar tape too as its a great accent.

Finally finished. The Extra Corsa is now road ready. Now it's got a new lease on life and it will stay in like-new condition for many years to come.

1989 Century
This is in Reynolds 653 which I believe was only sold in 1989. I got it as a frame a fork with a few extra bits. The frame was in lousy shape, chrome all pitted and a lot of paint dings. Shifter bosses were also pretty banged up but after TLC I was able to mount them. Fortunately minimal rust and the BB and headset that came with were in excellent condition. The seat post, not so much, with some of the deepest scores I've ever seen. I painted the fork and NDS chain stay with rattle can auto paint. Fitted her out with a mix of Campy 8 speed bits.

I saw that frame at Thunder Ridge in May, and the improvement is simply astounding.
Bravo!

This my MX Leader.
It did have a nasty red paint job and the wrong fork, so I sourced a Max fork and had it painted.
Built up with Dura Ace 7700, including the hubs which I laced to Velocity Razor rims.
Def one of the best bikes I've ever ridden, and despite me being a lightweight (so a Max frame is totally unnecessary) I still love the way it feels.

@alrsv1 - Nice work! I would be tempted to put flowers or something in the unused braze-ons.
Question regarding the repaint. What did you do about the decals? I've considered a repaint on my Merckx Pro but worry about reproducing the nice raised, gilt edged logo.

I got the decals from Cyclomondo (Greg Softley), he's well know here in Australia and has a great range.
