Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Thanks! I was stoked to be in the paper (albeit marginally). That kit you are rocking is dope. Most cycling kits look terrible.

I know I know, sort of cliche with the rain drops and umbrellas. But being a former Northgate resident I figured I could look beyond it. And oh yeah it was on sale at a major discount because nobody wanted it. I forget what list is this year (840? 870?) but I scored it for 619. The rims are stock alex500 which I haven't been that excited about. The max rating for the rim is 100psi. The minimum tire pressure recommendation is 120psi. WTF? Very noisy tingy loud wheels. I don't know if it's the 125psi on rock chip paved roads or what but they are loud.

What bars are those? Are they carbon?

I saw a dude on that frame today. I kicked him in the neck and took it away.

This floating dock rocks a lot and is quite challenging to balance on when it gets hit by a wake.
pics show both ends.

Yeah, thats cool that you got the bike for a good price, and honestly, I wouldnt pass it up if I saw it too. I still like it either way, I just think they couldve done something really cool for Seattle besides "rain, coffee, and umbrellas". They couldve put a sillouette of the cascade range or mount rainier, or one of many other things. Oh well! Maybe I should design my own bike.

My mistake, I thought they were Velocitys, and after I looked at them they did look like aeroheads but it was the color that I liked more. Velocity makes a color "anodized green" which is actually a dark green, and Ive been trying to find pics of it on a bike.

Thanks, yea it's the 2009 FDJ Team Issue kit. Got it off of Probikekit for ~$130 so I'm not complaining.

Nice abs dude! The no-handed track stands are tough enough alone, why you gotta throw in wakes?!?

You can't properly sprint while sitting and riding risers, silly goose.
