I had an Adamo for half distance triathlon and that was nice. On a nice flat course in NJ, was able to do 22mph @ 190 watts for 2 hours 37 min...thought that was pretty fun. And I think that included stopping to pee! I tried to put the Adamo on my track bike and it wasn't feeling right... but I might still tinker with it. otherwise id be willing to sell it.

Late to the thread. I use an Adamo. I gave the Cobb a shot, but it did not work for me at all. The only thing I don't really like about the Adamo is that the rails are kind of short reducing your positioning options and the nose is a touch wide. Still, it has been my saddle of choice for the last 3 seasons.

Good looking set up. (Transitions are fast!) But why the saddle tilt? Also, my brother in law is an electrician, need a number?

Thanks. Saddle slipped a little on last ride (still playing with it so it was probably a little loose, plus I'm heavy), rails started level as I believe they're supposed to be with that saddle. The only thing I need is my contractor to have remembered to order my cabinets on time!

Thanks for asking this. I received a budget TT bike the other month, (CC's RIdley Cheetah), and have not been able to ride it even one mile due to the uncomfortable seat ... or more accurately, the same "problem" you are having. Thank goodness that I'm done having children in this life. Been playing with the fitting using an indoor trainer, and just can't get the Profile Design Styke Elite seat to a comfortable position. I'd like to find a shop that has demo units of the Adomo seats.

FWIW, I wound up with a Cobb (v-flow max). I'm pretty happy with it, and they'll do a no questions asked money back on it if you're unhappy for any reason.

I rode the ISM for awhile but found the nose to be too wide my me. Switched to a V-flow and have been very comfortable. With the no questions return, why not give it a shot?

I have the ISM but I'm having the same problem as nate. Might try the v-flow.

If you have small hips, it can be an issue. The ISM is a great saddle for most, but it's not for everyone (what saddle is?). I even tried zip tieing the rails together to bring the nose in, but that just made it uncomfortable.

Cobb seems to be a straight shooter - I'll probably get one of his saddles at some point in the near-ish future.

Yes, I have better wheels, these are just for training. And yes, the saddle bag / bottle cages come off. No, I don't own a white garage door.

Exactly
I got my frameset very cheap from a sort of triathlete that just upgraded to a brand new Cervelo because "the frame wasn't a good fit for him".
It was as good as new

Build this from it:

Total cost 1100€.
It's a work in progress ... I have swapped the straight extensions to the bent type and like them much better ... perfect for training and I will probably upgrade the wheelset once I earn them by doing some races.

Ken, too bad I didn't read this earlier. I use the Adamo and I have a spare that you could've tried out. I loaned it to another guy this week..

FWIW, I tried all sorts of saddles and had issues. The Adamo is ugly as hell but it works.

No! Put it back and get 165 cranks. Do it.

Opps, just saw it's a Quarq. Go to 170's.
