Yep, Gandy Blvd is a pretty nasty road to be on, especially in the evenings...
Gandy is a 6-lane freeway for all intents, and then there's a large freeway that intersects it...I have to deal with the interchange and the 50mph traffic....that's nuts.
The other route, involves US19....quite possibly the single deadliest road in this area...I make it a point to not ride down either unless it's early or late enough to not have any real traffic...at those times FedEX is closed.
