I found the '86 brochure. Is this like yours? It seems like the Tre Tubi was a new model in '86. One nitpicky thing is that it says the Tre Tubi was offered in even sizes, and mine is stamped as a 59cm.

I found my old email from Chairman Bill, and I forgot that the frame in its original form had a sticker that said "Tecnotrat Cuneo". He said that Cuneo is outside Torino and Tecnotrat is the company owned by the De Bernardis. He thought it was built in the late 80s, but I've seen some pictures of Torellis claimed to be from '88 that had the new decals. So maybe it's an '87.
Chairman Bill said the 3 main tubes were SL and the stays were Aelle. However, the seat stays on my bike are double tapered, and I think the only ones I'm aware of that were made were Cyclex, which is not what Aelle was made of - perhaps only the chainstays were Aelle. The original fork was Aelle, but my fork now is SL (ribbed steerer tube) by Colnago. More than you wanted to know!
I attached a pic of the original frame and the bike after my ride today.

I have a Torelli Gran Sasso, one of a few built with Daytona/Centaur instead of the usual Veloce spec. Nothing special, but I rode it a lot over the years. Even burdened it with fenders and lights for our NW Winters. Also have a De Rosa with a Mondonico fork. It only sees sunshine. Don (Not sure how I got double set of pics, guess that happens when you combine a 75 y.o. with a computer. Maybe one of the Mods can delete 1 set?)

Thank you for taking the time to do that, tyler_fred. The picture sure looks like my frame, only in blue/white instead of my red/white; so whatever year that catalog relates to, is probably my frame year. It was also offered in odd sizes like my 59.
Some models offerered Campagnolo 990, which was introduced in '86. Looks like you could get Shimano 600 SIS with the Tre Tubi, so it has to be after '86 and probably before '89. Since I found the '86 brochure and it stated that the Tre Tubi was a new offering and came in even sizes, I'm assuming mine is either an '87 or '88.
Apparently, that Tecnotrat shop outside of Turin also built some Saronnis, DeBernardis and Torellis.

Here's mine, a late '90s Corsa Strada; nothing special in terms of tubing, but beautifully made & a lot of fun to ride:
Beyond that, I've been kicking myself for two years for passing on a stunning Mondonico Monza (with a full DA 7700 gruppo); it's my 'big-one-that-got-away' story... I saw the price drop from $1600... to $1400... to $1200... and finally to $1100 before it sold. The worst thing is that I had the extra cash on hand; at the time I just thought, "Well- maybe I should keep this for a rainy day..?"
Doh!!
