Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Actual weight is 1900 grams.

Gonna start saving up for some of these svelte puppies, with claimed 980g. They're also $60, though. I haven't spent that much on a tyre since the mid-90s.

Whoever gets your letter is fortunate to have you on their side.

That said, isn't this a lousy system that requires the usage of special code words? Not just picking on veterinary medicine--it's this way in a number of fields.

We are pointed in the general direction of the steel and out host disappears. We spend some time looking at the fabricated steel and can't figure out what the issue is. I call back t the office and get no help. So, we start nosing around. We discover that some gusset plates are in the wrong location, some base plates are the wrong size and we start making notes. We walk over to some other sections, look at each other and realize the same thing at the same time. All of this steel was fabricated to the wrong drawings. It was all fabricated to a previous issue of the drawings. Sorry, not much we can do. We tell the fabricator we are at a loss and tell him we will be back in the morning to check the rest of the steel.
Ugh, bad way to start the day. Makes me think of that time I removed the colon and the or nurse asked" what's this patients name?"

Just kidding folks.

An acquaintance of mine has encountered a pretty strong OCD conundrum in a urinal where I assume he works. Turn it over or leave it be?

Lol. Just logged in to Flickr and found that the photo of my wife and girl got picked up on Explore, which is Flickr's daily best kind of deal. So the photo that my wife didn't want "all over fb" has had thousands of views, shares and favorites overnight. Oops.
