You believe incorrectly. Where did you get that from? Nobody here axed him, trust me, he axed himself if anything. He’s been lurking around here and there but not choosing to post, in fact he just peeked in less than an hour ago. Maybe Vol is coaching him.

Aha. That makes more sense. I stand corrected.

A drill isn't a difficult tool to operate. The center punch is the most important part of the whole process.

So I have the ultimate Fred accessory which I bought last year, and if I have the courage I will try it on tomorrow’s ride.
I hope I don’t get ostracized. It’s the equivalent of a combo slide rule/pocket protector in the eyes of “serious” cyclists.
It’s the Take-A-Look mirror.

Well it finally happened
Went for a fast group ride. With a new group of guys, from a local bike shop. Having a great ride until, I went to take a left to go home. While sitting at the stoplight, a driver left hooked, head on into me. A lovely ambulance ride, three broken ribs, a concussion, a large bruise and cuts on my left leg, and several other scrapes and bumps and bruises. Lovely one night stay in the hospital, but I’m home now.
Now I’ll just have to be patient and healed up.

First ride with it and it feels funny. Made me a little car-sick. Adjustment not quite right.
But I will give it a bit more time before I decide.

If the driver didn't stop or isn't insured, depending on your state's laws, your injuries, damage, pain, etc. may be covered under your own auto policy (uninsured motorist coverage).
Don't discuss details on here or social media if you decide to follow up with your insurance or theirs.

But I use a Third Eye, not a Take-a-Look. (I like to think the Third Eye is slightly less dorky, because it's smaller and round.)

Exactly. Then start slow at first and gradually speed up, taking care not to overheat the bit.
