Another NJ Ritchey
And I thought all the old Ritchey's were on the left Coast. I'm doing my best to downsize, however this one will fit my son nicely.
1988 was a good year

That Ritchey is quite a find. Interesting to see how the bikes changed so rapidly from the late 80's to mid 90's.
Here's what showed up under our tree today. I've always wanted the red/white/blue 1991 PDG series 90, and this one's just my size and in decent condition with no cracks on the seat tube where they stays attach. Photo is giddy fresh out of the box (front brake still not hooked up). Will post more pics once it's sorted.

Yes, very nice.
I am bringing my Park Pre Catalyst home from the cabin over Christmas break.
I am going to show it a little love, get some issues sorted and I'll definitely post some pics.
It has one heck of a paint job and is a great mtb for the $$$ invested.

Good, Always nice to have a riding partner. Refresh my memory, You got the original fork with the Super right? That is so nice.

Thanks for the comments, I will see it for the first time since 2010 , the guy that bought it has added a rack and some different bars, but he still has the Pro lites which will go back on, it will be like seeing a member of the family again ! Parts for my weight Weenie project just will have to wait .

Anybody recognize the Diamond Back on the left? Just came across this pic on my computer. I believe it was about a 96, don't remember the model. Had some sort of carbon fiber composite frame. I owned that bike a few years back, before I became a true bike fanatic. I did ride it a fair amount and I know it was a really nice riding fairly light mountain bike. It had a limited gear range because it was out of tune, I was too dumb and/or lazy to figure out how to fix it. I sold it cheap thinking it was broken, funny thing is I actually felt a little guilty selling a "broken" bike, but I'm sure the guy who bought it was stoked if he knew how to work on bikes. I really wish I could find another one of those now, so I could give it a good overhaul and ride the heck out it.

Diamond back marketed them as having a welded carbon fiber frame. Basically welded cromo tubing lugs bonded to carbon fiber tubes. Nice frames, and you are right - they were mid 90's. My neighbor has one I'm trying to get him to sell me.....

Edit, found a few pictures of it on the rack, I will be taking it down to get more pics in the near future as we are trying to sell off all the NOS bikes to make room. We also have a NOS GT like that in a different color left.
