Hello gentlemen, (and the rest of you too, why should youse be left out?),
. . . but seriously, the Return link in a quote is acting wonky . . . it will not return you to the original post you (or someone else) quoted when the original post is on a previous (different) page.
Has anyone else been experiencing this problem with the link in a quoted post?

It's whacked. I was experiencing that the other night, as well. I figured it was on my end.

Well I'm glad it's not just me.
The first thing I want to try is just to close this thread and open a new one, perhaps that will clear it.

Someone on the internet encouraged me to watch this just now. Seems like a good candidate for thread theme song:

Looks like I missed all the excitement. I have thise kinds of issues so frequently, on all the forums I visit, that it didn't strike a cord, if there.
I came in to say that I mounted my first ever Conti Gp4ks2, this morning, and will be leaving shortly to see how it rides. I put the 23mm on the rear in the hope that I could mount and dismount the wheel without deflating. Close but no cigar. That old crit bike must be designed fir 20mm tires.
The front tire, btw, is a Vittoria Open Pave. And the bike is the 79 Trek 930.
Could make for a very nice combination, in this week of perfect riding conditions.
Oh, and on the test ride, I found some mahogany seeds on the ground. Looking forward to seeing if I can grow some.

Tests
Can someone else besides myself test the quote links in posts 3537, 3538 and 3540, and tell me your results?

Now the arrows are back. 3540 takes me back, but 3538 takes me to the top of the page. 3537 doesn't work at all.

I noticed earlier in this thread that there was a phantom page, but it only seemed to be off by one post. Not sure if they could be related, but the same broken backtracking happens in other threads with phantom pages, like "Latest Purchase" etc.
