Nah, that bike looks hot as hell just the way it is! IMO, yellow/gumwall is the only acceptable color other than black.

Mostly good looking, and a fine bike, certainly, but a bit too cool if you ask me - not particularly imaginative or engaging. Sometimes it just seems like prestige or snob-appeal boxes are being checked. The outline lettering on the wheels is odd, inconsistent with the design of the rest of the bike.

I loved my 2009 Cervelo R3SL. I crashed it and broke one of the pencil thin stays. I was very sad. My wife felt bad for me and said I could get a new bike. Cervelo authorized a crash replacement with the 35% discount. The S3 and S5 at the time weren't stiff enough, so I decided to wait for the new S5, which claimed to be as stiff as the R series. The new S5 also had the old Cervelo geometry.
The S5 release was taking too long and the window with my wife was closing. I bought a NOS 2008 Cervelo SLC-SL from R&A and had to return it because they sent the wrong size and only had a 54. I then almost bought a Ridley Noah Fast on closeout at Excel, but my powertap wheels were too wide for the integrated brakes. I test rode the TMR01 and it was the answer. Super Record EPS was externally wired on the R3SL, so it went to the BMC. Brady Kappius at Broken Carbon fixed the R3SL stay and the magnesium Paketa lost its Record 11 and went to the shelf.
I agree about the wheel decals. I've been riding the BMC most of the year. I like it best with the 45/65 and the 65 has a new G3. They look better on the R3SL, but looked best when I first got them a couple years ago.

No I should apologize: I grew so accustomed to the usual negative comments in these topics that I immediately believed your remark to be negative too.
