eBay / CraigsList finds - "Are you looking for one of these!?" Part II
Hard to see much from this one photo, but I think I see Mafac, TA/Stronglight, and Huret components. Anyone know this marque?

1940s Bianchi 650B City Bike
1940s Bianchi 650B City Bike - $425 (Beacon NY)
This is a wonderful and rare bicycle. I purchased it a few years ago on ebay. The seller was not honest about the condition of the bicycle, but having ridden it, I was determined to get it fully roadworthy. However, at this point I just don't have the resources, so it must go.
The main issue will be getting a new rear cog, as the current 3 speed skips. I believe a 4 or 5 speed would also work, as the frame in the rear is 126. Alternatively, you could get an internal 3 speed. Also, I have the part of the chain guard that goes over the chainwheel, but it (and the chainguard itself) are pretty beat up. I believe the rims were painted silver at some point, and the pedals are repro Bianchi. Aside from those, the tires and the seat, I believe everything else to be original, and almost all parts are stamped Bianchi, including the hubs, handlebars, reflector, etc.
Aside from the rear cog skip, once you rewire the brakes you will have a perfectly fine functioning bicycle. The ride is very spritely but also luxurious, with the wide 650b tires and upright city position. The frame, aside from a great patina and some very light rust in a few places, is fine, no dents or cracks etc., so you could certainly go all out and restore it to a T, but for a couple hundred dollars you could have a unique road worthy machine with character.
I am located in Beacon, NY, about an hour's drive north from NYC. You can also take MetroNorth from Grand Central and I can meet you at the train. Kindly include your phone # with any inquiries. Thank you.

This one is set up as a singlespeed currently, but maybe someone can restore it to its former glory (or even ride it as is, which is still pretty sweet):

Sweet deal for someone seeking a small bike. Don't often see on the secondary market.
Georgena Terry - small frame
Georgena Terry - small frame - $375 (Winfield) < >
I recommend the You Tube feature - 'Georgena Terry - the Movie' as it explains this manufacturer.
This high quality bike was made in Japan. It is built specifically to the needs of a female rider. It has Shimano Deore DX derailleur and 21 speeds. The shifting is done with bar end shifters. The brakes are Shimano 600. The rims are alloy Araya 700C. Panaracer Aramid tires. Biopace crank. Cromo frame construction. Computer. Tank bag on handlebars and also one under seat. Seat is a Terry and is foam for comfort. A very nice bike !

It looks more like an early 70's model, and the bottle mounts are probably rivnuts.
