Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cycling related content: when trying on bibs at the store, do you put your sack on the chamois or does etiquette and/or hygiene dictate underwear?

Snug lycra boxers. Come on, man...

And that's definitely "and". Etiquette and hygiene...

My day started with being shaken awake by Mr H with him saying, "you're supposed to be on the bike RIGHT NOW". Yikes why didn't my alarm go off (which is usually unnecessary anyway)?? Oh it *was* going off and had been for 30 min apparently.

Up & Adam and out the door on the bike 10 min later, after gulping down a cup of black coffee.

Rest of the day went pretty much like that, three pick ups from the emergency service and an overbooked schedule. Crazy day, it was one thing after another continuously. The price I pay for going on vacation.

Aero testing is Sat night. Should be interesting/fun.

Dan, LAJ and Heath,and rjones

Thanks for the replies on the puppy( He is actually 7 years old) he was a rescue dog that was left with us by the daughter. Best thing she ever did for me even though I was pissed at the time. He is a Jack Russell - beagle mix even though that picture is very beagle-ish.

Dan,

Doug's are quiet but sneaky. watch out for us.

I take back everything I said about the heat. 93 degrees and humid here, I blew up so hard on our group ride today. Followed the pack for 15 miles, last 14 were just redline heart rate and 15mph. Damn.

I can't quantify that. It is too subjective of a measure. I enjoy riding it if that helps.
