I meant to post this earlier. Boy Wonder at Junior Track Nationals: three events, three national championships. Love it.

New saddle ordered. I don't know why saddles seem to be a given.

Hey, I think I have one of them. Is it the one with the Ti rails, and the wings that move independently with your butt as you ride? If it is, it's the best non-Brooks saddle I have ridden. Currently not on any bikes, but always admired on the shelf. Light as anything, and mine has some leather sewn into it.

Trsnrtr, am really sad to read about your crash with your wife. I hope the bike is salvageable. I've just come off four broke ribs after a workplace accident, but mine weren't so incapacitating... but I have a clue as to how you feel.
I hope your kids are stepping up to offer help at home. Neither of you are going to be capable of much for a while.
For heaven's sake, don't let Machka find out about this. We haven't been back on the tandem since a sudden front-wheel puncture sent us all over the place, with a kerb right next to us; fortunately, I was able to wrestle the bike to a halt with no injuries.

Thanks @valygrl. Mrs. LAJ knows, just not the gory details. Just a little scuffle I got caught up in, with not much more detail given.
