Michigan DOT County Maps
I知 not finding an online source for PDFs or any way to view the county maps online. I知 only finding a way to order through snail mail, which doesn稚 work for me. Is there a online source?

The was a set in print, which can now be found and bought in the antique and used books market. I finally found a boxed set of them, but they are pretty old, with 1977 print/copyright dates. I’m pretty sure they were based on a reference set of drawings controlled by the State of Michigan. I’m pretty sure they were converted to CAD quite a while ago, to account for changes in the road system, new towns and other changes in authorities, et cetera. Our local bike club, Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society, used the older ones to document dozens of cycling routes that were followed in the long history of the club. You could look up the website of the Ann Arbor club to get an idea what is done today. But I don’t know anything about how the State of Michigan is actually handling such things today. But I imagine keeping up with new construction and the updating of roads with bicycle-friendly markings is a big effort, and It might be that nobody can think about public release (versus release within the building and planning trades) because the reality of the road system never stabilizes.
