Most likely a new Emonda. Main debate seems to be where it overlaps with the Madone. But I’m not a Trek fan so don’t really care.

A ride report might have been worth a thread.

Worlds collide here at BF all the time.
Some don't think anything else exists except their own little world. Some realize there are other worlds but everyone else does it wrong in their world.
Some find it interesting to to discuss and debate about the things that go on between the multiple different worlds. But too often, others think debate is unhealthy aggression and trivialize the debate with pejorative comments.
However this might be the wrong forum for this thread since the OP didn't tell us how this applied to cycling. And the forum description does say cycling topics...

Oh gawd...
This isn't about the new WaveCell helmet again, is it?

What is the current record for starting the greatest number useless threads? I sense the record is going to fall.

Maybe this is a re-introduction of the Wavecell helmet ... which was promoted as a product which would dramatically change the entire cycling world ....
Buy The Hype! it is the modern way ....
....for some.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the supernova that will be occurring near the constellation Hercules later this summer and visible with the naked eye in the night sky. I think it'll be at its brightest in late August through September. Its one of those once-in-a lifetime events (unlike the newest 'breakthrough' bike helmet tech).

Worlds collide would be a good way to introduce a new helmet. Astrophysicists have debated if my head is big enough to be a planet.

Mike sure has gotten Trek a few clicks I’m sure. After scrolling down there is a line about the most Earth shattering something in Treks history. I am going to venture outside the box and guess that they are going to finally the Checkpoint with the Supercaliber and call it the Superpoint. It’ll be a full suspension gravel bike.

Trek fanbois might be anticipating this, but I am confident in saying 98% of all cyclists and 86% of enthusiast cyclists simply don't care.
As for if it's been determined, if it isn't an Emonda Modone mashup, I'll be shocked. It's been a terribly kept embargoed secret for months now.
Some will instantly love and defend it without experience or reason, some will bash it without having tried it, and in the end it won't actually move the cycling enjoyment needle a meaningful amount.
The only thing I am curious to know is what the name will be.
Will it be a mashup?
Will it be some new anagram?
Will it be a totally new and unrelated name?
Will it be a call back to the 80s with numbers instead of a name?
Will it be a new model under a resurrected Klein brand?
Either of the last 2 would be genuinely entertaining and potentially neat, from my view in the cheap seats.

I thought it was about the new changes on this Forum! Eliminate showing quotes to reduce the contentious personal debates and to make us just Like-able people. Debate VS Likeability will always collide.
